Walk On
Terry Tufts
CD BCD130

Terry Tufts is a talented singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from the Ottawa area. A fine solo musician, he is also well-known for his work with such artists as Susan Aglukark, Don Ross, Stephen Fearing, David Wiffin, Laura Smith, George Fox, Charlie Major, The Arrogant Worms, Lynn Miles, and members of Rawlins Cross. CBC Radio has called him one of the finest finger-style guitarists in Canada. He has released four solo albums to date, and has toured Holland, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Australia and Germany.

His new CD "Walk On" draws on country, pop, and folk roots to create a pleasing collection of music. Featuring Terry's smooth, sweet voice, the album showcases eight of his own well-crafted songs and two interpretations ("Deep Purple" by Mitchell Parrish & Peter Derose and "Sweet Little Mystery" by John Martyn). The album features Terry on vocals, guitar, and dobro and includes guest appearances from a host of musical friends, including Willie P. Bennett, Wendy Davis, Peter von Althen, Fred Guignon, Christine Graves, Marion Linton, Ken Kanwisher, Ian Tamblyn and Dan Whiteley.
