One World Dance
Ken Whiteley
CD BCD187

One World DanceKen Whiteley does it again! One World Dance is a bold expansion of the music that has made Ken one of Canada’s roots music icons.

One World Dance is firmly rooted in tradition, yet takes this blues music to places it’s never been.

An all-star cast of musicians alongside Ken Whiteley includes Juno Award-winning pianist Joe Sealy; legendary guitarist Amos Garrett; a rhythm section of Bucky Berger on drums and Ken’s son, Ben Whiteley on electric and stand-up bass; Cuba’s Mario Del Monte is on percussion; Mark Mosca is on steel drums; and Sarah McElcheran and Colleen Allen make up the horn section.

Produced by Ken Whiteley.

"On One World Dance Ken Whiteley once again takes a bold step towards integrating the soul musics of the world. His version of 'Death Letter Blues' is breathtaking."

-Colin Linden

"Have mercy! This is prime stuff from a master of the blues form."
