Dance Like Flames
Tanglefoot
CD BCD179
Dance
Like Flames is Tanglefoot’s first album since the departure of founder and principal songwriter, Joe Grant, and
features songwriting contributions from all members of the band including newcomer Sandra Swannell.
Tanglefoot undertook a different approach in recording this album. For the most part, band members worked alone
in home studios and passed tracks back & forth. The track “For The Day” was the exception: it was initially
recorded live-off-the-floor at Park Head Studios Yorkshire by Brian Bedford (ex-of the British a cappella group
Artisan). Songs were assembled & mixed by producer and 18-year Tanglefoot veteran, Steve Ritchie.
Tanglefoot is Steve Ritchie (guitar), Al Parrish (bass), Terry Young (mandolin / banjo / guitar), Bryan Wiermier
(piano) and Sandra Swannell (violin / viola).
